Hello, passengers! Good job surviving your encounter with the urban legend. We’re gonna gently baseball slide our way into November with something nice and easy - shared dreaming!

Beginning on November 7, the ship will pass through a nebular cloud. Usually, this kind of interstellar travel event is no big deal, but this particular nebular cloud is a little weird, and will cause Navi to fall into a deep sleep. Ship operations will remain fully functional while Navi's asleep, but! Remember how all passengers are connected via the glyphlink to the Navigator? When Navi's glyph glitches out, it tends to affect everyone on board. As a result of this glitch, passengers will experience intense dreams that will be open to being simultaneously experienced by not only their glyphlinked partners, but the rest of the ship's passengers as well. Neat, huh?

Dreams can be as numerous as you'd like, and like normal dreams, can be about literally any subject or feeling. They can be realistic or fantastical, replay memories, center on desires - go wild! This is a good way to let parts of your characters shine through that they would normally never talk about. Dream scenes that are open to all passengers are encouraged, but you're also welcome to close certain dreams to specific characters, if you wish.

Because the catalyst is Navi’s glitch, characters who usually cannot sleep or dream will be able to participate, if players so choose. Participation in the shared dreaming is optional, of course! If you choose not to share dreams, those characters can simply have a nice restful dreamless sleep instead.

The shared dreams will happen intermittently over the next two weeks, ending November 21, when Navi’s finally cleared the cloud and fully wakes. When not dreaming, characters are welcome to wander the ship and discuss their weird - potentially awkward? - dream scenes with each other.
