Hello all! Fresh meat here!
I'm Corrine, though most people call me Cori, and I bring you all one Gaius Baelsar from Final Fantasy XIV. For the canon unfamiliar, he's a former Legatus of the Garlean Empire, one of the top officers in their military. I say former because he's since, uh. Been assumed dead, used that assumption to defect and go on a revenge quest, been discovered to be not dead, and then been branded an emperor killing traitor to his people.
That last part isn't true, for the record, but it's the current Imperial propaganda anyway. It's a very long story.
Beyond that, he's a pretty decent man and very much a dad, going through some family related trauma at his current canon point. He's up to date to the current patch of the game, though I'll avoid spoilers for those who want to avoid them and clearly mark what threads they show up in!
